One dozen Hillman Half Shell Oysters
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 clove minced garlic
1/2 juiced lemon
1/4 cup chopped parsley
Salt & pepper to taste
Heat grill to medium high heat, or preheat oven to 425°F.
Combine the butter, 1/4 cup of the cheese, lemon juice, parsley and garlic in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Place about 1 tbsp of the garlic-parmesan butter mix on each oyster and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
If grilling, add oysters directly to the grill shell side down and cover for approximately 3-5 minutes. If using an oven, place the oysters on a baking sheet shell side down and bake for approximately 8-10 minutes. The cheese should be completely melted and slightly browned when done.
Serve with lemon wedges if desired.
